Kentucky State Sporting Clays Championship
Many of you will remember Bert Horine, who passed away in 2006. Bert was a big part of the leadership in funding the development of our facilities. It will be a special tribute to his memory that we promote the best state championship ever. Rod Shyda at Lincoln Traps has provided the extra traps to assure that we have the best possible equipment. We can’t say enough about the support that Lincoln Traps has provided. If you miss a shot, it won't be because of your frustrations over broken targets. We are going to remove the term “No target” out of our event. R & R Traps, our distributor, bent over backwards to help us with equipment and expertise. If you don’t know Butch and John, and you’re in the sporting clay business, you need to! In addition, our station sponsors have “stepped up to the plate” and provided additional funds that we believe will make this an outstanding event. If you can patronize their services, please do. They helped us; please try to help them. If you click on the logos at the sponsor page, they will link you to our sponsors’ websites. Ronnie Ballman will provide the "Make A Break" game. We want to make this a Kentucky event and support the people that support us. Bill McGuire will set the targets. We wanted to make sure that everyone knows we are putting on a first-class event. So bring your “A” game; Bill tells us you’ll need it! ESP has allowed us to provide their earplugs as class prizes, as well as Henry .22 rifles. To be eligible, you must pre-register by August 17th. The registration form is available for download. Please return forms and fees to:
